A project for Jeddah Historical District
A sawtasura curated educational program operated at "Bait Gouta" in Al Balad, which sawtasura directed the revival of with bespoke furniture and spaces designed and implemented by Kham Studios. The program ran on schedule as well as was open to community self-organized sessions such as street photography, women's dinner on the rooftop, women's folk drumming workshops.

sawtasura research driven commissioned artworks for this exhibition now archived in the sawtasura library and includes over 20 audio records of wedding ritual in Najran by Artist Reem Al Nasser, photo documentation by Abeer Sultan and a critical essay on sabbabat by Elham Al Dowsary. This exhibition was originally launched online during covid serving as the first sawtasura project as well as the graduating project for artist Abeer Sultan who designed and hosted the website.

Commissioned by Athr Gallery to undergo the first survey of video art in the Kingdom. This was the largest exhibition in terms of number of Saudi Artist participations in one space to that date. Research and studio visits to reach selection occurred within three months, essay written within weeks before opening.
